My adventures in ELT began in 1998 when a holiday on the Hungarian plain turned into a one year contract with a language school. Since then I’ve worked in Romania, Hungary (again!), China and in various locations around the UK.

Since 2005 I’ve been living and working as an ESOL and EAL teacher in beautiful Shetland. I’m also a freelance resource writer and have written print and digital materials for Pearson, Richmond, Harper and Collins, the British Council, the Praxis Language Gym, FLTRP, Macmillan and National Geographic Learning.

Recently, I wrote and delivered the British Council/Future Learn MOOC “Exploring English: Magna Carta”.

I can deliver presentations and workshops in the UK and abroad.
